can you just imagine.. if we all had the ability to transform?! but not like in the robotic way the way the Transformers series does it.. but more like.. we would say.. go go gadget Alaia boots and *pop there they are on your feet.. i know, i know.. go go gadget is not transformers, but i couldn’t think of what those robots say when they transform.. hehe.. something about auto bots??? ahhhh anywhooo.. but the editorial below of Beegee Margenyte for Harper’s Bazaar Hong Kong February issue sort of depicts that concept?? They must not have come up with the title “Transformers” for nothing…

holy mother of all things amazeballs! hole-eeeeeee Balmain!!!!! i am in love with all things leather and Balmain.. well specifically their prefall 2012 collection.. in some ways there is a certain style that doesn’t transition much from season to season.. perhaps the theme does.. but the silhouette is pretty consistent.. but this is what and why i love all things Balmain! just wished it wasn’t so out there in price! but a girl can dream right? ;)

speaking of reminiscent.. Miro’s outfit reminds me (ofcourse in a slightly modern version) of the late 1800′s era kind of like what you would picture Jane Austen waltzing about town in.. if she hadn’t played up this outfit with cameos.. i would have probably leaned more towards little house on the prairie.. but anywhooo.. Miro plays it off nicely and i do love all things cameo.. something about them that just makes you feel so decadent.. :)

do you remember playing with Barbie’s when you were growing up?? is it still popular with girls today as it was when i was growing up in the eighties?? hm.. i wonder.. i mean, i do still see them around at toy stores.. ah reminiscent of the good ol’ days…

i thought it was so cool how French artist Jocelyne Grivaud creates Barbie doll versions of famous art work! sheer genius really!

um can i just say.. i am in love and in awe with Christian Dior’s prefall 2012 collection?! it is absolutely gorgeous!!! and i love how they took it out on the streets of Paris à la sartorial concept.. i love how Bill Gaytten kept it simple and classic!

i am just lusting and swooning over the cuts and simplicity of the btk pencil skirts, the peplum jackets, and its round-collars.. this is what i have been waiting for Dior!!
