i scream, you scream, we all scream for ADR Accessories Collection for H&M!!

the street style icon and Vogue Nippon‘s Fashion Director at Large Anna Dello Russo has collaborated with H&M on a special collection of accessories. the capsule is due to hit stores this fall, features ornate, gold-toned jewelry with turquoise accents and reptile embellishments, as well as sunglasses, shoes, bags and even a carry-on!

“I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M has involved a fashion director in a special project”, said Dello Russo in a press release. “I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist, I know accessorization is essential; it is the personal touch in any outfit. With these pieces, everybody can have fun, and turn an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day”.

Dello Russo is infamous for her outrageous ensembles and multiple outfit changes during fashion weeks, so it’s no surprise that her designs for H&M are rather over-the-top and ostentatious.

the obvi is that i am totes counting down for this day!! the lizard-adorned cuffs and deer clasp minaudiere are definitely on my wish list.

no word on pricing yet, but H&M is promising ‘uniqueness at an affordable price’ with this accessories range.

i love cameos.. so i was delighted to see them printed on t-shirts that Lulu Guiness is collaborating for Japanese street retailer Uniqlo.

the collection consists of 14 t-shirts with different illustrations of Lulu’s signature faces, animals, cameos, red lips and the London streets – inpired by her very own Spring Summer collection.

.”I always wanted to realize his ideas in a collection of shirts, so I was very intrigued when Uniqlo invited me to co-operation. I’ve always liked the simplicity of products Uniqlo – they are ideal for a basic wardrobe. I respect their desire for innovation,” – says Lulu.

so after Goyard, then Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton, comes Bottega Veneta with personalized leather accessories called Initials..

while i think it’s awesome!! i know that some people have mixed feelings about this.. what’re your thoughts?

you can now stamp your initials on their signature woven napa leather purses, belts, and small leather goods – in blue, yellow, red or green.

so what are your thoughts?

i really think this is a truly personalized thing.. either you love it or you don’t.

one of the best things about the label is that it does not scream its logo anywhere.. so i wonder how their fans and collectors will feel.

what i thought was pretty relevant and practical was being able to personalize your Burberry trench – kind of serves a purpose.. reminds me of my grammy sewing my initials into all clothes when i would leave for camp in the summer time.. lol

ok, i admit, i am not your typical house wife.. nor am i a good one at that. there’s no denying that i have lots to learn.. then again.. i’m not the stay-at-home house wife either..

i never cared too too much for designer home collections, that is until i bought us our first DVF duvet covers.. it was like Egyptian Silk Cotton heaven.. while it’s harder to buy anything designer home in North America, i think they are somewhat over priced for what they are..

but i was totes delighted to hear that on April 18 at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Roberto Cavalli presented his first collection of home accessories!!

the home-line will include furniture, wallpaper, carpets and other furnishings. in Cavalli’s own words he wanted to create a collection inspired by memories of his travels, his dreams and fantasies, as well as “a passion for everything beautiful.”

the home collection also carries Cavalli’s signature concept and style.. and paid close attention to the choice of materials and fabrics.

um leopard spotted cushions?! ummmm i will take one in each color please!

what’s even more exciting about the news?!

that the collection will not only be available in the European market, but to Asia andddddddddd North America!

cannot wait to get my hands on them!!

Zac Posen is in collaboration with Lord & Taylor to create a series of everyday dress collection called Z Spoke Posen with a twist to your mundane corporate style – a combination of simple yet complex shapes and cuts.

“I believe that fashion is like a form. I myself love women with forms.” says Posen, and perhaps that is why Posen’s designs are so different in style and always kept at a minimum length.

and now for the million dollar question, how much? you ask.. the pieces range from $149 to $199 USD, and can be purchased at most Lord & Taylor department stores.
