i got soooo excited to see the french brand Louis Vuitton’s lookbook for their pre-winter collection..

the  richly decorated, but quite practical coats, jackets, fur stoles, dresses and skirts, with the rich winter colors: dark blue and emerald green, chocolate and black, with pastel milky and powdery grays diluted to contrast here and there..

the one thing i give where credit is due.. Louis Vuitton sure makes great leather goods..

it totes screams “bonjour je suis parisienne”

i love the soft look on Raquel Zimmerman for the ‘My Dior Jewelry’ ad campaign.. brazilian people are truly beautiful.. did you know that Raquel is of brazilian origin??

i really really love such creativity and when imagination is used for the love of fashion.

the Paul Graves project for World of Hermès presented a series of photographs which projected handbag silhouettes of animals; doggies, chickiddy, swan, horse, caterpillar, piggy.. it’s like the old mcHermès had a fashion house, ee – eye – ee – eye – ohhhhh lol

so alittle long overdue.. but here it is.. my fave picks from the white house correspondents’ dinner..

this annual tradition to honor the outstanding journalists of America at the White House traditionally invites employees of TV channels Fox, ABC and CBS, as well as the editors of publications (like Time Magazine) such as, for example, Time.

i dont think i need to point out the obvi of just how important it is for actors and musicians to be invited to this White House Correspondents’ Dinner..  and with the presidential election just around the corner, it’s interesting to see who Obama’s greatest supporters are..

but my biggest fave of the night is Ginnifer Goodwin‘s style ever since she donned a gorgeous green custom Topshop dress to last year’s Met Ball. sporting a design by a fast fashion retailer on one of the most glamourous red carpets of the year takes sartorial courage, of which Ginnifer isn’t lacking apparently, because she just did it again in the stunning gown by H&M – remember the limited edition evening dress with organza crease plissé meringue skirt is from H&M’s red carpet Conscious Collection, and sold for a mere $299 when it launched earlier this month. not only was Ginnifer’s dress environmentally-friendly and thousands of dollars cheaper than the other attendees’ gowns, but she was also best dressed of the evening and getting lots of buzz from her choice.

the fact that you can mix high & low with such class and elegance totes win for me.
