after Rio, i am Miami bound for my cousin’s bachelorette.. and i was trying to find outfit inspirations for hot weathers..

and low and behold i came across this lookbook from Free People shot in Miami..

coincidence? i think so..

makes me all the more excited for Miami!

happy Saturday! the weather was beautiful! and blessed with good food and amazing friends!

my day started with the perfect cup of coffee at the hotel.. to a stroll along Ipanema beach.. you know the infamous post #9..

some shopping at Rio Sul..

then dinner at Urca for some ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-mayyyyyyy-zinggggg picanhas (slices of beef)..

and finally watching the sunset along Urca.. couldn’t have asked for more!

oh yes, and during this whole adventure i totes caved and got myself some havaianas..

and the fact that i got to do some updates??.. the connection is still painfully torturous.. totes remind me of the dial-up era.. aughhhhh.. just the thought makes me cringe!

just need to patiently wait until next week!

the street style icon and Vogue Nippon‘s Fashion Director at Large Anna Dello Russo has collaborated with H&M on a special collection of accessories. the capsule is due to hit stores this fall, features ornate, gold-toned jewelry with turquoise accents and reptile embellishments, as well as sunglasses, shoes, bags and even a carry-on!

“I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M has involved a fashion director in a special project”, said Dello Russo in a press release. “I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist, I know accessorization is essential; it is the personal touch in any outfit. With these pieces, everybody can have fun, and turn an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day”.

Dello Russo is infamous for her outrageous ensembles and multiple outfit changes during fashion weeks, so it’s no surprise that her designs for H&M are rather over-the-top and ostentatious.

the obvi is that i am totes counting down for this day!! the lizard-adorned cuffs and deer clasp minaudiere are definitely on my wish list.

no word on pricing yet, but H&M is promising ‘uniqueness at an affordable price’ with this accessories range.

but this collection of accessories are truly whimsical.. doesn’t it remind you of outfits for porcelain dolls??? or a closet of Frida??

every details and accents of gold and lace.. the structural shapes.. just makes me feel totally inspired..

really goes to show how Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were inspired by folk art.

i would love to get my hands on the headband!

the  richly decorated, but quite practical coats, jackets, fur stoles, dresses and skirts, with the rich winter colors: dark blue and emerald green, chocolate and black, with pastel milky and powdery grays diluted to contrast here and there..

the one thing i give where credit is due.. Louis Vuitton sure makes great leather goods..

it totes screams “bonjour je suis parisienne”

i’m checked-in.. it’s been day one here today.. weather was beautiful and sunny! too bad i was cooped up indoors all freakin day.. but anywhooo..

staying over at my beloved Ipanema.. but the hotel’s connection is clearly showing me no love.. so it’s a bloody drag and painful to watch while uploading pictures.. let alone just to browse.. i really really have limited bullshit tolerance.. so you can imagine me and patience.. just doesn’t go!

so i apologize for my such MIA-ness this week.. but bare with me.. maybe on the weekend i can muster up my courage and test my patience then for some updates.. so bare with me!

and this is actually my first time taking an international bound business class via American Airline.. it was interesting.. and horridly uncomfortable.. how does one sleep at a 45 degree angle??? thankgoodness i wasn’t wearing anything silk! i would have been slipping and sliding off my seat-bed.. lol
