meanwhile in the rumour mills going about back home.. thankgoodness for social media and my phones! aughhhh definitely cannot live without! anywhooo yesterday all over toronto twitter land people were posting that the FDCC (Fashion Design Council of Canada) announced post yesterday eve’s exclusive cocktail reception that good ol’ Toronto Fashion Week will be renamed to World M*****C*** Fashion Week.. and then the trend of M*****C*** was viraling out of control and you can imagine one with a wild imagination and creativity that could be interpreted in so many wrong ways too.. but that’s bedsides the point.. my split second interpretation was mother cunt.. and my mind began thinking w-t-f.. haha..

my only thought here is.. while New York and London went quite the opposite direction, i.e., one would have never guessed the actual names behind New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week by CFDA).. or that London Fashion Week (Canon Fashion Week by BFC).. so why is it that just when I thought Toronto was slowly getting out there they would pull this type of stint?? and why is the word “world” incorporated?? just alittle disappointed.

i was reading alot of expressed disapprovals and that the Toronto media should continue to use Toronto Fashion Week.. which i endorse.. it’s almost embarrassing, really! we (Toronto) barely get ourselves into the mark and we pull a stunt like this.. i leave your imagination and creativity to wander alittle more..
